It's a bit of a political piece, the food the little man eats is something of a red herring, or perhaps a blue herring, of foreshadowing the events that come. A blue woman was not what he was expecting. A blue woman, a democrat or liberal. The liquid the blue woman squirts represents the injection of politics into a relationship and how it can turn an entire relationship sour in a few minutes. It's a piece for the times, a piece all centrist ideological leaners are absolutely to watch.
